    A natural fir tree ten meters long and sixty years old, offered by the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, traveled from Italy and was transplanted in front of the building of the Region of Central Macedonia.

    Despite the adverse weather conditions, the Vice Governor of the Metropolitan Area of Thessaloniki and President of Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, Mrs. Voula Patoulidou, who was present at the transplant process, sent a message of optimism:

    “If Europe wants to live, it must have its roots deep in Greece.”
