The president of Thessaloniki Tourism Organisation and Vice- Governor of the Region of the Central Macedonia, Mrs. Voula Patoulidou, supports the plan to renovate the exhibition center of the Thessaloniki International Fair, in the framework of the close cooperation of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization with TIF Helexpo.
As Ms. Patoulidou states, “Thessaloniki is in the center of developments in the wider region of Southeastern Europe. The renovation of the TIF will play a vital role in the economic and tourist development of the city”.
“Ambitious projects are required in order for Thessaloniki to have a leading role. The renovation of TIF is an ambitious project. The environmental upgrade of the Metropolitan Park of Pavlos Melas that is implemented by the Region of Central Macedonia in collaboration with the Municipality is an ambitious project.
We are not just upgrading the image of the city. We are changing the position of Thessaloniki on the map of the cities that claim the title of a modern city.”
