The shooting of the movie Expendables 4 has started in Thessaloniki, with the second-largest city in Greece getting into a Hollywood mood.
The famous Hollywood star, Andy Garcia toured the city in a special tour organized by the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization in collaboration with the Region of Central Macedonia.
The popular actor, accompanied by his friend Joe Drago and members of the ” Expendables” production, visited the walls and the Triangle Tower, the Roman Forum, the Kamara and the Rotunda.
During his walk on the beach, passers-by recognized him and a street vendor gave him a miniature of Zongolopoulos’s umbrellas, made of wire.
Andy Garcia and his company had the opportunity to enjoy the November sun in Thessaloniki and some of the members of the production revealed that they will return to the city in March for a new film, without revealing more details.
