Thessaloniki Tourism Organization made a targeted presentation of Thessaloniki at the annual conference of German travel agents held from 28 to 31 October in Costa Navarino, Messinia.
Thessaloniki Tourism Organization presented the destination in one of the most important tourism events in the world, with the participation of the “foam” of the German tourism industry. This is a conference with a long history, with several destinations internationally claiming its hosting, where participants are considered opinion formers and destination promoters.
The conference was attended by more than 450 tour operators, travel agents, representatives of internet companies as well as travel editors from the largest German publications, both in person and online due to epidemiological constraints.
The conference took place in Greece after 71 years on the initiative of GNTO and in collaboration with HATTA / FedHATTA.
The President of the Tourism Organization of Thessaloniki and Deputy Regional Head of the Metropolitan Unit of Thessaloniki, Mr. Voula Patoulidou, stated characteristically: “Our goal is for Thessaloniki to” play “everywhere. We are working systematically and consistently on this. We continue unabated.”
