Day 2

Info

After your first contact with the city and its ancient history, get ready for different images and emotions!

The second day begins with a good breakfast. Try the traditional bagel, the Thessaloniki’s bougatsa pie or the fresh spinach pie to get the necessary energy to start the day! Meet the center’s food markets, Athonos Square, Modiano Market and the historic Kapani. Next, the Ano Poli (Upper Town / old town) with the imposing Walls (Fortifications), where you will get a “taste” of the old Town. The ‘ascent’ includes picturesque, narrow streets, historic churches, among them the churche of Agios Dimitrios, patron saint of Thessaloniki and the Byzantine bath which are included in UNESCO World Heritage list. Dine in one of the area’s traditional taverns. The city view is truly unique!

At night, food and fun until the morning await you in the famous Ladadika, the most ‘vibrant’ area for sleepless nights!
