New York College
New York College (NYC) was established in 1989 in collaboration with the State University of New York-Empire State College and then it has expanded its academic collaborations in Europe, by concluding strategic alliances with recognized universities like University of Greenwich and the University of Bolton (G. Britain), the Université Toulouse 1 - Capitole (France) and the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef (Germany).
Today, New York College is a group of training institutions with presence in four European cities: Athens, Thessaloniki, Prague and Tirana, which, through academic collaborations with recognized American and European universities, offers high quality multicultural education at undergraduate, master's and doctoral level, in a host of modern disciplines. It offers 68 Bachelor programs and 14 Master programs and PhD.
New York College is authorized to operate by the Ministry of Education and is accredited by the British Accreditation Council as an institution of higher education since 2001.
Graduates of New York College acquire authentic degrees of partner universities.
The New York College has modern facilities. The Computer Rooms in Thessaloniki are equipped with the latest technology in computers, printers and video-conferencing in a wireless environment. The classrooms all have modern means of interactive teaching. The libraries are open daily, while in addition to the printed literature, also offered online access to libraries of partner universities, and the Emerald e-library.
In New York College study more than 2500 students from 65 countries and teach more than 200 instructors and the number of graduates exceeds 14000 students.
