The members of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization welcomed in their offices, the new mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Konstantino Zerva.
Mr. Zervas, who has stated that tourism is one of the priorities of the new administration, which took over in the beginning of September, got informed by the President of the TTO, Mrs. Voula Patoulidou, regarding the activities of the Organization and the tourism of the city, the on-going projects, the planned promotional activities and the new tourism strategic goals.
The municipality of Thessaloniki is one of the 8 partner bodies of Thessaloniki that participate in TTO for the tourism marketing and the promotion of the city and the region, not only within Greece but mostly abroad.
At the meeting were present, Mr. Socrates Kirtsios – representative of the Thessaloniki Hotels Association, Mr. Charilaos Alexopoulos – representative of the Commerce and Industry of Thessaloniki, Mr. Kostis Chantzaridis – representative of the Regional Development Fund of Central Macedonia, Mr. Anastasios Tzikas – representative of the TIF-HELEXPO and Mr. Efthimios Fotopoulos – representative of the Regional Union of Municipalities of Central Macedonia Region.
