MMCART的永久收藏是当代希腊艺术最丰富的收藏之一，它通过个人首创精神不断促进当代艺术的创作 。除了亚历山德艾欧拉斯的著名的大量收藏捐赠，众多收藏家、艺术家和个人也慷慨贡献，丰富了此馆的藏品。其中很大一部分在博物馆的新场所永久展出。除了不定期展览，博物馆对属于永久收藏的艺术品也做修改，创造空间、观众和艺术家之间新的关系。现在的 MMCART，出了艺术家高端活动，也举行教育项目，为成年人开的艺术史课、音乐和戏剧演出。这里也有艺术商店、咖啡馆和图书馆。
