Dimitria Festival 2025 – Aspects of representation in contemporary Greek painting: exhibition of works by contemporary Greek artists from the collection of Iordanis Kotzaivazoglou

The exhibition showcases selected works of contemporary Greek figurative painting from the collection of Professor and Dean of the School of Design Sciences at the International Hellenic University, Iordanis Kotzaivazoglou.

It includes representative works in oil, acrylic, tempera, and watercolor by acclaimed modern Greek painters from the generations of the 1960s, 1970s, and especially from the 1980s onward, such as A. Fassianos, D. Mytaras, P. Tetsis, K. Grammatikopoulos, Ch. Botsoglou, I. Psychopedis, S. Sorogas, P. Samios, S. Daskalakis, G. Rorris, E. Sakayan, M. Makroulakis, E. Kana, M. Haros, A.M. Tsakali, M. Filopoulou, M. Ktistopoulou, T. Mandzavinos, among others.

The exhibition also features drawings and prints (woodcuts and etchings) by N. Hadjikyriakos-Ghikas, Y. Tsarouchis, and A. Fassianos.
