It is a modern, of international standards, cultural and conference center, with the capacity to host a wide range of festivities such as concerts, theatrical and opera shows, ballet, art and culture exhibitions, as far as conferences.
In M1 Building you can find the main concert hall, the reception hall (foyer), a conference hall of 50 seats, the offices for the administration and technical services, as well as the necessary facilities for the support of the events. The building’s external appearance is in perfect harmony with the city’s history, combining decorative elements both from its byzantine past as well as its contemporary cosmopolitan role.
The M2 Building, designed by the famous architect Arata Isozaki, is a unique construction that embodies all the virtues of contemporary architecture. Geometrical lines, large glass surfaces and metallic details, constitute an image of imposing simplicity that contradicts, yet stands as an equivalent to the neighboring M1 Building. Filled with natural light, the foyer of the new building offers an exceptional view. With the newest technology equipment and wonderful infrastructure, the Emilios Riadis Hall can host up to 500 guests, while the Moris Saltiel Hall with a capacity of up to 300 guests can be subdivided into three smaller halls of 100 or two of 100 or 200 seats respectively, so as various types of events may occur. The
M2 Building provides an underground parking of 230 car spaces, covering a surface of 11800 square meters.
The Thessaloniki Concert Hall is a handicap friendly building. When booking a ticket, visitors are kindly requested to inform the clerk about any special demand.
