The Vice Governor of the Region of Central Macedonia and President of Thessaloniki Tourism Organization Mrs. Voula Patoulidou and the Mayor of Kalamaria Mr. Giannis Dardamanelis met at the premises of the Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, formalizing the entry of the Municipality of Kalamaria into the TTO family.
Ms. Patoulidou stated that the main concern of the Organization is the promotion of all the municipalities of Metropolitan Thessaloniki. “Kalamaria has a substantial and historical special weight. This year is important and our joint actions will highlight and honor the Municipality and its people because we all honor our soul, we deposit our soul. We will not be in these positions, but as long as we are, I will sign, that I will seek cooperation for the best of the place “.
Mr. Dardamanelis stated “In the field of tourism we have to highlight something very strong: historicity-landscape-people of Kalamaria. 2022 for Kalamaria is a year of memory, where we have debt, but also a need to honor. We want to highlight who we are and from where we started. Through collaborations like this we manage to become better and make our place better “.
Kalamaria is now a member of Thessaloniki Tourism Organization, participating in the development strategies of the tourist product of the whole city, which are expected to stimulate it financially. The meeting was attended by the General Secretary of the Municipality of Kalamaria, Eleni Fyka and the Deputy Mayor of Culture, Tourism and International Relations, Vasso Nikolettou.
