EuroPride 2024: “Together, Building a Future of Love and Acceptance”
Thessaloniki is preparing to welcome EuroPride 2024, an LGBTQ+ pride festival that is coming to light up the city with the colours of love, solidarity and acceptance. The message of the festival this year is “Together, we are building a Future of Love and Acceptance”. This message highlights the importance of collective action to promote equality and justice for all LGBTQ+ people.

EuroPride 2024 will be a celebration of diversity, an opportunity for dialogue and awareness-raising, but also a powerful call for change.

The festival will include:

Pride march: The highlight of the festival, the Pride March, will take place on Saturday 28 June 2024. The march will cross the main streets of Thessaloniki, ending at Aristotelous Square, where a big concert will take place.
Cultural events: Theatre, music, dance, art and literature exhibitions, workshops, lectures and discussions on LGBTQ+ issues will fill the festival programme, offering visitors a rich and varied experience.
Social events.

Educational actions: Seminars, workshops and lectures will focus on LGBTQ+ rights, activism and social justice issues, providing participants with knowledge and tools to promote equality and acceptance

Importance of the festival
The organisation of EuroPride 2024 in Thessaloniki is a major victory for the LGBTQ+ community in Greece. The festival will bring to the forefront the issues faced by LGBTQ+ people, enhance the visibility and acceptance of diversity and send a strong message of unity and solidarity.
