The most beautiful Christmas fairy tale is based on E.T.A. Hoffmann’s story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King. Hoffmann’s enchanting tale inspired Tchaikovsky to compose the music for The Nutcracker, his most dazzling and beloved ballet.
