The Thessaloniki Municipality Symphony Orchestra presents a unique classical evening at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki

The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program divided into two parts, consisting of the Symphony No. 34 in C major, KV 338 by W. A. Mozart, the Trumpet Concerto in D major by Heinrich Stölzel with the distinguished soloist Gerasimos Skliros and finally the Symphony No. 1 in C major, Op. 21 by Ludwig van Beethoven. Gerasimos Skliros belongs to that rare category of trumpeters who move with the same naturalness between the historical, symphonic and contemporary repertoire. He was born in Lefkada and studied trumpet at the Apollonius Conservatory, where he obtained a Diploma with unanimous distinction, as well as at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (LGSMD(P)).
