Greek coffee

Info

Having its roots from the Ottoman period, Greek coffee is one of the most popular coffees in Greece, especially at older ages. The roasted coffee beans are being ground to become a fine powder with boiling water in a pot, with or without the addition of sugar and stirred to the top with spoon. Its characteristic is the kaimaki (froth), the thick foam created during boiling and retained in his serving. You will recognize him from the small cup served. Classic, dark, blond or traditional, you can enjoy everywhere and especially in the traditional cafés in the Upper Town.
