Reference point of the city of Thessaloniki and one of the most beautiful squares of Greece is undoubtedly the Aristotelous Square. It was the central axis in the redesign of the city by Ernest Hebrard, after the fire that destroyed the center of Thessaloniki in 1917. In its architecture we find European and Byzantine models and trends. Due to its orientation towards the sea, the square is one of the most loved and popular spots for residents and visitors of the city. Crowded cafés all day long and dozens of happenings and events are held in the square throughout the year.
