The Olympic Museum is located in Thessaloniki next to Kaftanzoglio National Stadium and it is the only Museum of its kind, officially recognized by the International Olympic Committee. At the ground level of the building the “OLYMPIC GAMES” , a permanent exhibition, is hosted, dedicated to the Olympic Sports and Champions, while on the first floor periodical exhibitions are held. The tour to the Olympic history is concluded by the Paralympics unit. You will come across digital applications, qr codes and touch screens, providing extra information for each Olympic Game. Moreover, through interactive applications, visitors can measure up their skills in jumping, balancing, throwing, as well as their reflexes. The Olympic Museum of Thessaloniki is a founding member of Olympic Museum Network based in Lausanne at I.O.C., member of ICOM (International Council of Museums) and ISHA (International Sports and Heritage Association).
