The Regatta North Aegean Cup, organized by the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki, is held in Toroneos Gulf. The start of the competition and the skippers’ meeting take place at Porto Carras Hotel in Halkidiki, which is also the headquarters of the event. Participating boats are moored in the Porto Carras marina. Races include inshore races (upwind-downwind, triangle) and races along the coast of Toroneos Gulf.
