Ideas and initiatives worth spreading and set an example but also food for thought, shared by distinguished speakers – Greeks and foreigners – the TEDx, held every year in Thessaloniki. The first event took place in 2010 and since then the TEDx has brought to Greece’s leading thinkers and practitioners, creating a community of thousands TED’xster. The TEDxThessaloniki is organized by a group of volunteers, along with an additional number of volunteers contributing to the day of the event. As a team share a common purpose, to present ideas and stories that matter and give each TEDxster the best experience reminiscent of TED.
And since Thessaloniki means fun, the opening and closing of TEDx is always made with music and partying!
