Democracy Celebration 2025 in Thessaloniki: An Evening of Remembrance, Tribute, and Music in the Name of Freedom, at Thessaloniki’s New Waterfront

This year’s event organized by the Municipality of Thessaloniki, near the White Tower, marks two important anniversaries: 51 years since the restoration of Democracy in Greece (Metapolitefsi) and 100 years since the birth of Mikis Theodorakis.

In the first part of the event, honorary awards will be presented to individuals who played a decisive role in the struggle for the restoration of Democracy.

Concert with Tsaligopoulou, Basis, and Estoudiantina:
The evening will culminate musically with a concert dedicated to Mikis Theodorakis.
