Timelapse: Great Classical Works Reimagined in Jazz
After years filled with a constant race against time—rushed and relentlessly fast-paced—the pandemic brought the world to a halt, forcing us to appreciate the normalcy we once took for granted but now deeply long for.
Timelapse is an original musical journey into the past, aiming to bring classical masterpieces back into the spotlight.
Developed slowly during the lockdown, this project aspires to bridge the world of classical music with jazz, while preserving the integrity and essence of each composition.
Its repertoire includes a selection of classical works, widely recognized by the general public, rearranged for chamber orchestra and jazz trio.
A surprising fusion of two musical genres that offers the audience a unique yet familiar experience, through a fresh and modern musical language.
David Pastor – Trumpet
Francesc Capella – Piano
Tom Warburton – Double Bass
Featuring members of:
MOYSA – Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Thessaloniki Concert Hall
Miguel Ángel Navarro – Conductor
