The important institution of the Region of Central Macedonia returns to the inner courtyard of Eptapyrgios.
The artistic programming of the Eptapyrgios Festival 2024 is built around the woman, the woman of different places and times, in an effort to illuminate her different aspects over the centuries.
Concerts by great performers such as Marios Fragoulis, Dimitra Galani, Giota Nega, Evanthia Reboutsika, Dimitris Basis, Pavlina Voulgaraki, Margarita Zorbala and Elli Paspala.
With poetry nights, but also with a concert of new artists and groups, which comes after the excellent SKG LIVE MUSIC FEST”.
With 15 performances. With four opera performances, co-produced with the State Theatre and the State Orchestra of Northern Greece and 100 performers on stage.
In its six years of existence, the Eptapyrgios Festival has hosted some of the most important names of the Greek artistic scene, as well as the international scene. At the same time, in the productions it designs and implements, it collaborates with almost all the artistic institutions of northern Greece.
Works and artists of international recognition in a unique monument make up a puzzle that covers a very wide range of artistic events (opera, tributes, poetry and music evenings, art music concerts).
The programme of the Eptapyrgios 2024 Festival, presented at the Press Conference in the Regional Council Hall, consists of seven major productions.
The performers are outstanding artists, most of them from the Region of Central Macedonia.
A total of 7 productions will be presented in 15 performances, involving 270 artists and supported by 45 technicians.
The production-organization of the events is underwritten by the Cultural Center of the Region of Central Macedonia, in collaboration with the Ephorate of Antiquities of Thessaloniki City and with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
The Eptapyrgios Festival is under the auspices of UNESCO.
The Eptapyrgios Festival 2024 is sponsored by the Cultural Centre of the Region of Central Macedonia, by the Ministry of Culture, while from this year onwards it will be co-funded by the European Union, through the European Regional Development Fund.
