In the world of the music of George Kazantzis | Lazariston Monastery Festival

The Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki is celebrating 40 years of operation and its contribution to the Art and Culture of the city and the Friends of the Conservatory are organizing a big anniversary concert on Saturday 31 May 2025 at the Lazariston Monastery, entering the wonderful musical world of the renowned composer George Kazantzis, in order to support the important work of Doctors of the World.

On stage, great artists who have common paths with the composer’s melodies will collaborate, interpreting the response to his works, such as “Bees”, “It was air”, “Chimonanthos”, “Katarti ki Atmos”, “Halfway through love, the killer comes out” and many more songs that left their mark on the country’s art music scene and defined moments and paths!

Pantelis Thalassinos, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Fotini Velesiotou, Dimitris Bakoulis, Giorgos Houvardas and Eleni Demopoulou will take the audience of Thessaloniki on a journey to the unparalleled art of Giorgos Kazantzis, accompanied by the Orchestra and Choir of the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki and distinguished musicians!
