The Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall: 100 Years since the Death of Moritz Moskovsky

The Thessaloniki State Orchestra commemorates the 100th anniversary of his death with his romantic 2nd Piano Concerto, performed by the famous Romanian soloist Aurelia Visovan.

The programme is rounded off by Tchaikovsky’s torrential ‘Fourth Symphony’, which deals with the theme of Fate as a dark force that prevents happiness and allows only temporary joys, and invites us to face it by living each day with unbridled vigour, as if there were no tomorrow.
