Thessaloniki: Puccini’s opera “La Boheme” at the Eptapyrgio Festival 2026

Giacomo Puccini’s classic opera “La Bohème” opens the curtain at the 2026 Eptapyrgio Festival, offering the Thessaloniki audience a unique lyrical experience.

The production, co-produced with the Thessaloniki State Orchestra, is presented at the emblematic monument, directed by Athanasios Kolalas and musically conducted by Giorgos Vranos.

The performance highlights the timelessness of the work through the contemporary perspective of the direction and the cast, while the distinguished lyrical singers, the participation of multiple choirs and the high-level orchestra transport the audience to the Parisian world of young artists and the fragile Mimi, where love, friendship and loss come to life with passion.
