White Night 2024

The Commercial Organization of Thessaloniki, in cooperation with the Municipality of Thessaloniki, organizes on Wednesday 4 December 2024, the biggest celebration of the city, the Lefki Night.

Activities for young and old will be available in 7 different locations in the municipality, offering the opportunity for the whole city to celebrate. At the junction of Navarinou and Gounari streets, cultural dance clubs will set the rhythm while mascots and balloon constructions will be waiting for our little ones! The big surprise is the brass band of Macedonia, ready to get us all excited!

A little further away, at the junction of Iktinou and Zefxidos streets, dance schools will give unforgettable shows to the sounds of jazz music by “Divarco”. Specialized face painters will create imaginative designs on the faces of young and old alike, while balloons will take shape into whatever shape you wish.

Below, at Agia Sophia, the surprises continue…live music by “Gramophone” with songs that bring an air of another era! The stilt walker together with his friend the elf will entertain us and give us moments of laughter! Next door, an animator along with our favorite face painters will add their cheer to the evening and the magic show with giant soap bubbles will amaze the whole town, creating unforgettable memories!

However, the actions will not be limited to the city centre. The Commercial Organization  of Thessaloniki, wanting to embrace the entire Municipality of Thessaloniki, is extending the celebration to Toumba and Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, supporting the local market.

More specifically, along Grigoriu Lambraki Street, actions will take place in three locations, at 104, 196 and 218 Grigoriu Lambraki Street. Live music by “Bliss” and Rachel Tselepidou will provide the rhythm while a van-bar will serve Glühwein hot wine. Cultural clubs and dance schools will be present along with the stilt walker, mascots, animateurs, balloon makers and face painters. The spectacular show with giant soap bubbles will entertain young and old alike in Toumba! A pleasant surprise will be waiting for Toumba fans as they will have the opportunity to be photographed with the hottest Instagram trend, the 360 photo booth!

On Vassislisis Olgas Avenue drummers’ groups will bring fun and liveliness to the market and the residents of the area, giving a festive rhythm to the market!
