The Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO) was established in 1929. The GNTO is governmental department and its main goal is the organization, development and promotion of tourism in Greece by using all of the country’s potential by following tourist promotion activities domestic and abroad, supervision and control of the overall tourism market, as well as all other activities considered necessary for the support and promotion of the Greek tourism product.
