Thessaloniki loves sports. Throughout the city and the suburbs many sports facilities are being used by sports clubs and public, for training and recreation. Both at the large football fields used at Athens Olympics 2004 and the National Sports Centers, as well as, the clubs’ facilities, municipality fields and gyms, and private sports clubs, locals and visitors exercise.
