Following the ‘trends’ and the evolution of coffee worldwide, the cafés of Thessaloniki offers all the other favorite coffees in many variants: espresso with over 10 variations, cappuccinos, and espresso or cappuccino freddo, their Greek summer versions of cold cream and ice cubes, as well as filter coffee, mochaccino, Irish coffee etc. For the  coffee experts, in Thessaloniki you can find cafes called ‘third wave‘ ( “third-wave coffee“), which are derived from micro roasters, places that they make their own blend espresso, roasted in small quantities of superior quality coffee beans mainly from Latin America and Africa, providing essentially a taste of another level of experience.
